Ardisia escallonioides
marlberry
Native to Florida
Marlberry is a native small tree that might
easily be confused with the invasive
shoebutton, Ardisia elliptica. There are three types of Ardisia
in Florida (Wunderlin, 1998). Of all the U.S., Marlberry is only present in FL (Kartesz, 1999).
