My research focuses on finding new management techniques for Brazilian Pepper (Schinus terebinthifolius). The purpose of this research is to reduce pesticide loading into the environment while increasing applicator safety. This research will be conducted while working alongside contractors to ensure this method is practical for field use. I am excited to contribute to the ever-challenging field of invasive plant management and hope my efforts will carry through in conservation efforts for years to follow.
