Located along the Suwannee River and featuring the largest whitewater rapids in Florida, this newer state park has 3,782 acres, with 33 miles of wooded trails for birders, hikers and horseback riders. Bicycle riding is an especially popular activity here. Picnic facilities and a canoe launch also are part of the package.

Gorgeous woods, secret cypress swamps, spongy seepage ponds, and steep river bluffs all contribute to the special character of this exceptional place.
