Bok's Singing Tower |

The highly ornamented 205-foot marble and
coquina tower features reliefs and friezes of Florida plants and animals. The tower also houses
an English 60-bell mechanical carillon. Recitals are heard daily by carillonneurs Milford Myhre
or William De Turk; they perform a wide variety of music for bells, including original
compositions, as well as music adapted for bells.
Fifty acres of quiet, formal gardens surround the bell tower; an additional 157 acres of woodland
gardens, longleaf pine-turkey oak habitat and a bog garden make up the Pine Ridge Preserve.
