Overview: There is a real need for young people to learn about the varied careers available in aquatic environmental science. However, many young people aren’t even aware of the possibilities. This section presents a number of possibilities to consider.
- Careers in Florida's Freshwater Environments DVD with viewing questions/answers. (MS, HS) The DVD program is about environmental occupations in Florida, for upper elementary and middle school students.
- Careers Vocabulary (HS)
- Careers Vocabulary Game – students play charades to guess careers their classmates are portraying. - Coming soon.
- Community Service Project: After watching the careers video and FL Aquatic Plant Story, and the performance of one service learning project, students will be eligible for certificate, Aquatic Plant Apprentice. - Coming soon.
