Freshwater Plant Puzzle Observation Chart


Purpose: Students will increase identification and observation skills.

Directions: After assembling the puzzle, use the plant identification sheet to identify five native and five non-native plants on the puzzle. 
List both scientific and common name, indicate whether it is native or non-native, describe the plant type (emersed, free-floating, floating-leaved, grasses, submersed, etc.) and provide a brief description.
