Freshwater Plant Puzzle Observation Chart


Purpose:  Students will increase identification and observation skills.

Directions:  After putting the puzzle together, list five examples for each category:  animals, emersed plants, floating and floating-leaved plants, grasses/sedges/rushes, invasive plants, and submersed plants. In the same box, write a brief description (leaf shape, leaf arrangements, flower description (if it’s in bloom).
