Flagler Beach is on the Atlantic coast of Florida, just a few miles north of Daytona
Beach.
In 2001, it is still an old-style Florida beach community having no high rises
between you and the ocean. Besides having a beautiful municipal shore, Flagler Beach also has
an
ocean fishing pier, a very long and pleasant salt marsh boardwalk, and the Gamble Rodgers
Memorial State Recreation Area.
