Particulates

MAIN INDEX

Particulates are any substances in small particle form that are found in waterbodies, often suspended in the water column.

Substances in water are either in particulate form or dissolved form. Passing water through a filter will separate these two forms. A filter will trap most of the particulates, allowing dissolved substances to pass through.
