Native to Florida
Lake hygrophila is a native
plant. It can be found in swamps and wet hammocks. There are three species of Hygrophila
in Florida (Wunderlin, 1998). In addition to FL, Lake hygrophila also occurs in PR (Kartesz, 1999).
