Also known as trumpet
honeysuckle, this species can be found in floodplain forewsts and hammocks, and it blossoms in
spring-summer. There are 2 Lonicera species in Florida (Wunderlin, 1998). Coral
honeysuckle is located throughout the northeastern US and parts of Canada (Kartesz, 1999).
