These are images of Myakka River State Park, Florida.
Myakka River State Park is a premiere bird and wildlife observation park in Florida. It includes
a seven-mile scenic drive and more than 40 miles of hiking trails. The park also offers airboat
tours, tram tours, guided walks, campfire programs and birding classes, as well as a boat ramp
and basin for bass, bream and catfish fishermen. Canoeing is also a favorite activity. Boats,
canoes and bicycles may be rented on site.
The park includes furnished log cabins for overnight guests, RV hookups, family camping and
primitive camping. A 15-mile riding trail is available for visitors who bring their own horses.
