Two-leaf water milfoil is a native in Florida's lakes, streams and swamps. It is occasional throughout Florida (Wunderlin, 1998). It flowers in the spring through the fall. Two-leaf water milfoil is also found in the states of the eastern two-thirds of the U.S., as well as in eastern and western Canada (Kartesz, 1999).
