Broadleaf arrowhead is an emersed plant. It's large leaves and conspicuous flowers make it easy to find in the wild. It is occasionally found growing in swamps, ditches, lakes, and ponds in the peninsula, central and western panhandle of Florida. Sagittaria latifolia blooms from summer to fall (Wunderlin, 2003).
