Common asparagus-fern is native to South Africa but escaped cultivation. It is frequently found in disturbed sites in St. Johns and Leon Counties, the central peninsula and Broward County. The reproductive season is fall-winter (Wunderlin, 2003). The UF/IFAS Assessment lists plants according to their invasive status in Florida. | |
