Research Focus :

Research projects focus on the management of submersed invasive plants.  Priorities include evaluating efficacy of registered aquatic herbicides; collecting herbicide residue data; screening and evaluating potential new chemistries for both efficacy and selectivity; and studying the population dynamics of plant propagules following long-term management.
