    This Bidens species is a wetland plant commonly found in marshes, cypress domes and swamps in the northern counties of Florida, south to the central peninsula and Collier County. Marsh beggartick blooms all year (Wunderlin, 2003).

    It is a native found in the Atlantic states of the southeastern U.S., from Virginia to Texas and is rare in New Jersey.
