Species Overview

Piedmont primrose willow frequently occurs in marshes and lake and pond margins from the northern and central peninsula west to the central panhandle of Florida, and in Collier and Walton counties. It blooms in the summer. There are almost 30 species of Ludwigia in Florida (Wunderlin, 2003). This particular species can be found in FL, GA, and SC; it was once found in AL (Kartesz, 1999).
