Individual cards feature full color photographs on the front to help with visual recognition, as well as helpful information on the back about the plant’s appearance (leaves, flowers, and fruit). Plant distribution and ecological threat information also are provided. Alphabetized by scientific name, the cards are bound with a metal clasping ring that allows you to add, remove, or reorganize the cards as needed.

All sets include an index in the front section with plants listed by both common and scientific names; a text glossary of botanical terminology; an illustrated glossary; and a bibliography.

Regional sets contain recognition cards for plants occurring in specific areas of Florida: northwest, northeast, central, southwest, and southeast.
