Native to Florida

Salix caroliniana is found at the edges of rivers, ponds, lakes, ditches, marshes, and in open, wet forests. It is common nearly throughout Florida (Wunderlin, 1998).

Carolina willow is located in 23 states including Florida (Kartesz, 1999).
