Perennial glasswort is commonly found in salt marshes and salt flats from the peninsula
west to the central panhandle and Santa Rosa County (Wunderlin, 2003). It occurs almost always under natural conditions in wetlands.
Sarcocornia perennis also occurs in most coastal areas
from Nova Scotia to Florida to California to Alaska (Kartesz, 1999). It
blooms in summer and fall. |
