Native in Florida
Gulf cord grass is one of
five native cord grasses in Florida. It is occasional in salt marshes and dunes
throughout the state (Wunderlin, 1998). It is also present in AL, MS, LA, and TX
(Kartesz, 1999).
It blooms in the summer through fall.
