Tillandsia bartramii Native to Florida
Bartram's airplant
It's current distribution includes Florida, Georgia and Puerto Rico, though it is rare in the latter two. Bartram's airplant could historically be found in South Carolina, but it has since been extirpated there (Kartesz, 1999). Within Florida, it is frequently found in the northern and central regions west to the central panhandle (Wunderlin, 1998).
