Native to Florida

There are six wild grape species in Florida. This one, Florida pigeon grape, is frequently found in the hammocks of the state (Wunderlin, 1998). It flowers from spring to summer.

Florida pigeon grape occurs from Virginia to Louisiana (Kartesz, 1999). There are about 18 species of wild grape in North America.
