University of Florida Aquatic, Wetland and Invasive Plant Information Retrieval System

With the advent of the World Wide Web and the success of our website, we are being contacted by more people with more diverse interests than ever before. The Center for Aquatic and Invasive Plants primarily performs research on "weedy" aquatic and wetland species invading natural systems and on methods to control these species. The Aquatic, Wetland and Invasive Plant Information Retrieval System (APIRS) collects literature on these topics as well as all other topics in the science of aquatic and wetland plants. Many people who contact us simply want to ask a question about growing plants in their aquarium or backyard pond. While we can send you a list of literature on the topic of your query, you may prefer a simple answer from a fellow hobbyist or from an expert within a hobbyist group. For this, we refer you to the resources listed below. If you would like to receive a list of literature on your topic, please feel free to access the online APIRS database or to contact us for a search at kpb@gnv.ifas.ufl.edu. Happy planting!
