Lara Colley is the Education Coordinator for the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Florida Invasive Species Education Initiative (UF/IFAS IPEI). She helps develop, evaluate and implement education outreach materials and programs for the UF/IFAS Center for Aquatic and Invasive Plants (CAIP). Her passion is to encourage individuals to adopt conservation behaviors and positive attitudes about nature. Prior to working at the UF/IFAS CAIP she served as a park ranger, nature interpreter and small business owner. She earned a bachelor’s in natural resource conservation and master’s in forestry and environmental education.
