Species Overview

This native fern is common nearly throughout Florida (Wunderlin, 2003). It is common in swamps, bogs and marshes.

Cinnamon fern is found in the eastern half of the U.S. and Canada, from Texas and Florida to to Quebec and Newfoundland.
