Rhabdadenia biflora

mangrove rubber vine

Native to Florida

Species Overview

Mangrove rubber vine is a native vine in Florida. It grows on mangrove trees in coastal hammocks of Brevard county (Wunderlin, 2003). Mangrove rubber vine leaves look very much like the leaves of the mangrove trees they grow on. The vine’s large white flowers instantly distinguish the vine from the tree. It blooms year round.
